Matadora Photostudio Rules and Guidelines
1. Matadorastudio is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. We take calls from 10:00 to 22:00.Our rate is 300 AED per hour.
2. The studio can be booked for 12 or more hours with the possibility of early check-in /late check-out. The price of additional hours, beyond the standard 12-hour shift, is 400AED per hour.
3. We normally welcome up to 5 persons in a room at the same time, photographer included. If you wish to invite someone additionally, we will charge 50 AED/hour per person.
4. Please plan your visits with us in advance. If you are planning to visit a studio to check the rooms, make a payment, etc. please make an appointment with Administrator. Our personnel are available at the studio by scheduled bookings or appointments only.
5. Please make sure to arrive in the studio 15 min before your booking starts - otherwise we might not be able to provide the service on time.
6. We are kindly asking you to inform all of your colleagues and guests that it’s only possible to get into the studio wearing clean replacement shoes. For not following this rule we will have to charge you 200 AED – for the cyclorama damage.
7. For security reasons, there is video surveillance installed in the studio
8. Studio is not responsible for any stuff left or lost.
9. Our halls, with the exception of the Cyclorama, are not equipped with sound insulation. Consequently, we cannot guarantee complete silence in the event that you have planned sound recording.
10. We reserve the right to refuse service for non-compliance with our rules.
Bookings
1. The studio can be booked on the website, via whatsapp or direct message on instagram
2. We will not be considering rent requests for less than 1 hour long, which is the minimum rental time for one hall
3. For bookings please provide the following information:
•Full name, phone number and email
•date, hall title, booking hours with exact time
•purpose: photo / video
•number of people on the set
•Number of rental hours of makeup area, if needed*
•What equipment is required
The administrator will send you information about the preliminary booking in response. After you confirm a time and provide all information we will send you a payment link on your email. Please note that the payment link is only valid for 6 hours. If during this time the down payment is not received, your booking will be automatically cancelled.
You can extend your booking at the studio if this time is not booked by another client. The renewal price does not include discounts and does not depend on the number of previously booked hours.
Booking can be confirmed only after 100% down payment. By making the prepayment, the Tenant accepts all studio rules.
After making the payment, you will receive a notification about the successful booking.
*Please let us know if you would like to use a make-up area . We offer 1 hour of make-up area for free with every booking. If you need moretime – charge will be 100 AED/hour.
Cancelation
Booking cancelation is free of charge 72 hours prior to the booking time. Cancelling less than 72 hours will be charged as 100% payment as a penalty.
In case your plans changed, you are free to reschedule a booking, onetime only and no later than 24 hour before the initial booking time. Rescheduling later will be treated as cancelation with a 100% payment as a penalty.
Shooting Time
- The tenant is responsible for all people and process at the hall during a rental time, including meeting their guests and accompanying to the hall.
- Booking starts at the time of reservation. If you are late for your booking time and you spend less time shooting - we will still charge you the full amount. Being late comes at your own expense!If you are late for more than 30 minutes without notice, the booking will be automatically canceled.
- Please reserve 5 mins before your time’s up – that’s the moment when our administrator can enter the hall cuz it is required to check the hall.
- Tenant must leave the studio no later than the end of the booking time.
- Booking can be extended if the hall is available after and it will be calculated as an hourly rent.
- Use of loose props must be confirmed with our administrator before your booking time. Dresses with loose sequins are equated to loose props. The PENALTY for not following this rule is 500 AED.
At the end of the shooting our hall must be left clean and all props must be placed at the initial place. All the traces of the shooting must be removed by the Tenant before the end of the booking time.
The cleaning is charged additionally for 100 AED or you are free to clean the studio after the shooting yourselves, but strictly before your rental time is over.
Liability
- In case of damage to the studio, the Tenant is obliged to compensate the cost of damage on the spot. In case of refusal to compensate the damage, our team will have to immediately contact the police.
- In case of damage to props (decorations) or equipment, we charge 1000 AED + the cost of restoration
- In case of photo-/video shootings with animals, the Tenant is fully responsible for the all the property damage they might (even accidentally) cause.
- If the tenant refuses to pay the penalty or compensation the studio has the right to refuse your next booking, call a POLICE and add you to the ’’BLACK LIST’’ of the studios in Dubai.
OUR DON’Ts
- The use of open flames or flammable substances is STRICTLY PROHIBITED (fine of 500 AED). Remember that tenants are responsible for fire safety during the booking!
- Smoking in the studio is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN (including Iqos and electronic cigarettes).The fine is 500 AED.
It is forbidden to be in a state of alcoholic or drug intoxication in the studio, not allowed to bring alcohol into the studio. In this case we will have the right to refuse service with 100% penalty
